Q: How do Hante Tutor operate?

A: The parent is required to fill our online form which helps us collect all the important information about the tutee that we need to match them to a highly suitable tutor. We search our database for tutors who suit your preference and are knowledgeable in the field you wish to learn. We also handle all negotiations with tutors and send the most suitable tutor to you..

Q:What ages and classes do you work with?

A: We work with students from ages 4 upwards.

Q: How can I earn a discount?

A: We give discounts of between 10-20% for clients who pay for 3 months or more upfront.

Q: How does payment work?

A: You can pay securely online or via bank transfer. Our online payments are processed by Paystack and Guarantee Trust Bank which accepts Visa, Master and Verve cards. Apart from the above service fee, you don't have to pay for lessons until we have found your perfect tutor and you're ready to begin lesson.

Q: What if the fee is beyond my budget?

A: We do our best to ensure that we are able to work within reasonable budgets (usually above 30,000 per month) and since we work with such a large number of tutors we are always able to find tutors within your budget.

Q: How flexible are the arrangements?

A: Flexibility is the most important part of our essence; which is why every arrangement can be changed when further conversations between client and tutor are had. In cases where the new arrangements by a client are no longer favourable for the tutor we are able to find a new tutor for the client with no extra charge if the client gives at least a one 4 weeks notice for the change.

Q: How do you verify your tutors?

A: The home is a very sacred place and we take extra precautions to ensure that our tutors are not only highly responsible but in a case of any reported issues we are able to track them. Moreover each tutor is thoroughly screened as skill expert, personality, and safety. In view, before we accept any tutor we verify online profiles, conduct lengthy interviews, test their knowledge of each skill and verify their guarantors to ensure your peace of mind.

Q: What happens if I’m not satisfied with my tutor?

A: In the unlikely event that you’re not satisfied with your tutor, we’ll immediately replace the tutor or we make refunds for services not rendered.

A: All lessons take place offline at a comfortable location you and the client agree on.

Q: What can I do to make myself a desirable tutor?

A: For you to teach with Hante Tutor, you must have previous experience teaching people either formally or informally, whether privately or in an institution, and have a strong track record of producing results. You must also be excellent at relating with people, be able to verify your identity and pass all our assessments. The more skill you can teach the more sought-after you are likely to be

Q: What are the working hours like?

A: The working hours depends on our client’s requirements, but can be easily rescheduled to benefit both you and the learner. In general we are very flexible and classes last an average of 2 hours.

Q: Does Hante Tutor operate in my area?

A: Hante Tutor connects tutors and clients nationwide, so yes! we operate in your area. However, we also focus on the main cities. When you have a client, you'll get an email, sms or phone call from us.

Q: How much will I get paid?

A: Payment differs on a variety of factors, but on an average scale, our most active tutors earn between ₦30 - ₦100k per month depending on several factors. We'll ask you to link your bank to your profile, so that once you complete the lesson, you'll receive payments within 24 hours.
